Workit - Work Experience

Pupils currently in S5 and S6 are welcome to apply for a work placement.

To do this, pupils should log in to the WorkIt website: https://www.workit.info to choose a work experience in a sector which is of interest to them.

Once pupils have identified a suitable work placement for them then they can request approval for this. All pupils should now have a log in for WorkIt, but if not, then Mr Carstairs or Mr O’Brien will be able to help.

If a pupil has identified a work placement opportunity which is not already on the WorkIt website, they should speak to Mr Carstairs or Mr O’Brien. The new WorkIt platform also provides learners with a variety of resources, such as interview games and CV support, to help them prepare for the world of work. Pupils who complete a work placement will also be given the opportunity to achieve either a Level 4, Level 5, or Level 6 Work Placement Unit.
