What will I learn in this subject?
Retailing at National 5 is an introductory level qualification in Retail. It provides a broad experiential introduction to the sector and provides learners with the practical skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to work in retailing.
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed internally with all candidates completing four mandatory units:
Retailing: Working in Retailing, Retailing: Maintaining, Storing and Replenishing Stock, Satisfying Customer Needs and Retailing: Planning and Implementing a Retail Event.
All units require a pass as there is no SQA exam for this subject.
