Learner Participation Network Improvement Plan

Each Vice Captain and team of Perfects lead on a school theme set out in the Education Scotland HGIOURS (How Good is OUR School) framework. This is important as it allows our young people to play an important role in shaping our school.

Part of their leadership journey is to consider a BIG Idea! This consists of them exploring improvement opportunities within their appointed school theme. Vice Captains and their link prefects conduct research, collect people's views and call on their experience and time at AHS to come up with a BIG Idea! They have the responsibility for driving through their BIG Idea and measuring the success of their chosen idea.
